Gov't VS Media

From ABCnews.com:
A senior federal law enforcement official tells ABC News the government is tracking the phone numbers we call in an effort to root out confidential sources.

"It's time for you to get some new cell phones, quick," the source told us in an in-person conversation.

ABC News does not know how the government determined who we are calling, or whether our phone records were provided to the government as part of the recently-disclosed NSA collection of domestic phone calls.

I saw this article too. If this is true than this is total bullshit (not in the sense of being not true but in the sense of being wrong.) As expected the bush administration is using surveillance in the war on terror not on terrorists but on dissenters. This is why everyone needs to stand up for privacy and freedom. The phone companies aren't going to protect our rights -adam

It's a little sad to me that I feel safer putting my privacy in the hands of foreign companies.
