Fast Food Nation Trailer
I have high expectations. I love Linklater, and the book was mindblowing. The trailer ain't doing it for me though.

Huh... looks lie a strange breed of after school special and corporate training video built on top of the Thank You For Smoking framework. But it would be good. I'm kind of glad it's not a straight-up documentary, but I hope they don't spend too much time trying to make jokes.
Yes, I'm also a fan on many Philip K Dick adaptations. Bladerunner, Minority Report, etc. I'm really interestedto see how A Scanner Darkly turns out. If you ever saw Waking Life, there is a part near the end where a character (Linklater himself, I think) discussed a Dick lecture about the possibility that time is a loop and that we are continually reliving the Roman times. Sounds wierd, but worth a read, if you are into his mind-F*ck type stories.
